THIS JOANNA GAINES-APPROVED COFFEE MAKER DESERVES A PLACE ON EVERY COUNTERTOP, NO MATTER THE SIZE OF OUR KITCHEN
To coffee enthusiasts, few moments rival that first cup of the day – and that includes figures at the pinnacle of the design world, starting with Joanna Gaines.
Gaines' powerhouse brand, Magnolia, curated a list of the designer's favorite coffee items, and one that rises to the top is Nespresso’s VertuoPlus from the Hearth & Hand collection, exclusively sold at Target. When Magnolia meets Nespresso, we know the result will taste just as good as it looks. And, if anyone can show us just how aesthetic a coffee maker can be, it's Gaines herself.
The designer shared images of her Nespresso VertuoPlus on Instagram, and, of course, the shots have that traditional yet sleek aesthetic that is so synonymous with her Magnolia brand. We love how this white coffee maker looks against her quietly luxurious veined backsplash and countertops (almost as much as her chunky, Scandi-inspired cookware), but in such a versatile colorway, we're sure this appliance will impress in any style of kitchen.
This exclusive Magnolia coffee maker has all the benefits of the classic Nespresso Vertuo: designed to make both coffees and espressos in a variety of sizes. Complete with the brand's Centrifusion technology, the maker formulates the 'perfect single-serve', creating barista-grade coffee at the touch of a button.
Followers of Gaines will already know that the HGTV star has an ongoing partnership with Target, where she stocks an exclusive Magnolia line named Hearth & Hand. As this coffee marker is approved by Hearth & Hand, it is inevitably only available at this retailer, so we won't be surprised if it sells out fast.
In a similar way to the Nespresso Vertuo Next, its H&G-approved counterpart (that is equally easy to use). However, in true Joanna Gaines style, her Nespresso VertuoPlus is as good-looking as it is practical – something we're not surprised to see, considering she's put her name to it. And while we may best associate Gaines with the styling side, it's important to note that this is not her first coffee venture.
In fact, Gaines and her husband (and Fixer Upper co-star) Chip also opened a coffee shop named Magnolia Press in Waco, Texas – paying homage to the joy of coffee in the same way as this machine.
'Coffee has a way of grounding me – that morning cup is a simple reminder to celebrate the new day, and then there’s the occasional afternoon cup that serves as a pick-me-up and gives me something to look forward to,' Gaines explains on her blog.
'One of my favorite things to do on a quiet weekend is to grab a cup of coffee to-go with my girls and shop around all the local boutiques. There’s just something about holding that cup of coffee that slows me down and makes the moments feel richer.'
