A newly wedded couple's joy quickly turned into excruciating sorrow after close family members who had attended their wedding died in a terrible road accident.
Tragic accident claims lives of family members
Four family members, including the mother of the groom, died tragically on Sunday, 23 June, after a beautiful weekend celebrating the couple's wedding day.
A video shared by Kusaga TV indicated that Cecilia Luka (the groom's mum), Anthony Luka (the groom's brother), and two other family members passed away in the Monday accident.
The family members were travelling in a Toyota Noah whose driver lost control, leading to the fatal accident that killed them and left others with severe injuries.
Village mourns the loss of family
On Friday, 28 June, villagers were inconsolable as they received the bodies of three out of the four family members for burial.
The fourth family member will be buried in the coming weeks.
