PRINCE HARRY, MEGHAN WILL ‘NEVER’ GET BACK RELATIONSHIP WITH WILLIAM, KATE

Grant Harrold, a former royal butler, who worked for King Charles, said that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will never get back their original relationship with Prince William and Kate Middleton. Prince Harry and Meghan quit their duties as senior working members of the royal family in 2020 and moved to Montecito, California where they started a new life. The pair have two kids together – Prince Archie (5) and Princess Lilibet (3).

New York Post reports that Prince Harry and Meghan contacted Prince William and Kate in hopes of a reconciliation. This comes after Princess Kate revealed her cancer diagnosis in March. However, Harrold claims that there has been “too much damage” for things to go back to how it used to be.

“[Harry] caused damage and broke down trust. It’s difficult when you’re a future monarch,” said Harrold to The Post.

“I doubt they’ll ever get back the relationship they had originally. That was a very different relationship built on trust. It’s going to take time. William is a tough character. He’s a good guy,” he continued.

While there is an unlikeliness of the brothers reconciling, Harrold has hope for the situation.

“I’d like to think that their relationship will get back on track. But yes, it is unlikely,” he added.

OLIVE BRANCH

This comes after Prince Harry and Meghan reportedly extended an olive branch to Prince William and Kate. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have reportedly reached out to Princess Kate before she attended the Trooping the Colour ceremony. T

Princess Kate joined the royal family for King Charles birthday celebrations on the Buckingham Palace balcony on Saturday 15 June. Prince Harry and Meghan have not seen Princess Kate since she cancer diagnosis.

A source claims that the pair have been following the Princess of Wales’ recovery, despite their communication with Kate and Prince William being limited.

“Both Harry and Meghan have been following Kate’s recovery with huge interest, but sadly it’s had to be more from afar because their lines of communication with the palace and the Waleses, in particular, are very limited, to say the least,” a source told Closer.

“They have had enough information to know that people are excited about the idea of a comeback for Kate and they’re both relieved and happy to hear that she’s on the mend and may soon be well enough to return to her duties.”

This comes after a new book claimed that Meghan “ordered” Prince Harry to “ignore” David Beckham back in 2018.
