The chocolatiers at KitKat have teamed up with ice-cream giant Peters to create a Drumstick flavoured chocolate bar - and fans claim it's the best yet.
The fun collaboration is inspired by 'sweet memories of summer' and has been released in winter just as the hot weather nostalgia kicks in across Australia.
The new KitKat sees the chocolate's iconic wafer drenched in a double dose of velvety vanilla and rich chocolate sauce with waffle-cone spiked caramel, all encased in a thick chocolate coating.
And it's been described by chocolate lovers, and ice-cream fans alike, as the best way to enjoy the flavour of the iconic Aussie Drumstick without worrying about it 'melting into a drippy mess'.
The coveted collaboration circulating around Australia comes in both a long and thinner block version, as well as the chunky bar version.
This taste collision of two popular classics is scoring high marks across social media with fans describing it as 'insane'.
Chocoholics biting into the surprising flavour for the first time had very good things to say about the new treat.
'That tastes just like the drumstick cone, I'm salivating, wow, it just hit the brain. That is the best KitKat I have ever had,' one fan said.
'Legitimately the best KitKat combo flavour I've ever had, this thing is bonkers,' another agreed, giving the bar a solid ten out of ten.
People joked the flavour would lead to a breakdown, instead of just a break.
A fan who was yet to try the bar said, 'shut up and take my money where is it going to be available.'
The chocolate is currently at Woolworths and will be hitting other stores across Australia from the end of July.
