DEAN GAFFNEY 'IS LOOKING FOR LOVE ON THE DATING APP HINGE - WITH HIS PROFILE STATING THAT BEING IN A RELATIONSHIP WITH HIM IS LIKE WINNING THE LOTTERY'

Dean Gaffney is reportedly looking for love on a dating app, with his profile telling suitors that being in a relationship with him is 'like winning the lottery.'

After years of being unlucky-in-love, the EastEnders star, 46, who has twin daughters from his romance with ex Sarah Burge, has signed up to the dating app Hinge.

Dean's profile, according to The Sun, says that he doesn't wish to date anyone who smokes, describing it as his 'biggest turn-off.'

The profile adds: 'Be a nice humble person, it's nice to be nice... you'll get the same from me.'

Accompanying Dean's profile is a collection of snaps showing him looking suited and booted, and it adds: 'Dating me is like winning the lottery everyday.' MailOnline has contacted a representative for Dean Gaffney for comment.

In 2019, Dean signed up to the dating app Bumble in a bid to find love, after splitting from his partner Sarah in 2015.

A source said at the time: 'He’s a down-to-earth guy who doesn’t take life too seriously and just wants someone to spend time with. Dean knows he’s casting the net wide but he thinks that way there is more of a chance of meeting Mrs Right.'

In 2021, Dean then signed up to the celebrity dating app Raya, after failing to find a partner on Bumble or Tinder.

On his profile, Dean is said to have chosen Kate Bush's 1989 track 'This Woman's Work'.

Raya costs £7.99 to subscribe and users must go through a strict vetting system before being accepted to meet other stars.

Other stars who have previously been linked to the app include Ben Affleck, Jack Whitehall and Harry Styles, Cara Delevingne, Sam Thompson and Paul Mescal.

Dean recently revealed he felt lucky to be alive after his medical for I'm A Celebrity raised bowel cancer concerns which prompted emergency surgery.

He took part in the recent all stars version of the ITV reality show after originally competing in I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! in 2006.

He was given the boot from the series before his fellow campmate Myleene Klass went on to win the season .

The star was first considered for the covid-safe version of the show which took place during lockdown at Gwrych Castle in North Wales in 2020.

And, after undergoing medical tests for his potential appearance, doctors were concerned about what they saw as a result of tests, with Dean now considering the I'm A Celebrity tests to have saved his life.

He told The Mirror: 'There is no doubt I'm A Celeb and its medical team saved my life. I might not be here today if it wasn't for them finding what they did.'

Doctors found number of polyps in his large intestine which left him needing an emergency procedure.

'Within hours I was in a hospital gown and under general anaesthetic and they took it out,' explained Dean.

After he came round from his surgery, Dean claims a doctor told him: 'Had you not come to us today, in three years that could have turned to bowel cancer. You've been very lucky.'
